My name is Hayley and I’m the newest member of Shakespeare Media. I thought that it was only a good idea to introduce myself.
Born and raised in Warwickshire, I live near Stratford upon Avon with my soon to be husband [I’m trying not to be that obnoxious bride to be!]
My favourite things in life are Cricket, RuPaul’s Drag Race, Musicals and True Crime podcasts!
Since I was 16, I have loved the Media and Advertising Industry. I started off by writing for the local newspaper, reviewing gigs within the town followed by reviewing festivals around the country for a music website. After that, I went on to achieve an HND in Media, followed by a degree in Broadcasting & Journalism.
During that time, I interned at a number of radio stations, arming myself with a stack of real-life experience. I then started my career in 2011.
EXPERIENCE
Over the past 9 years, I have worked for the BBC and then moved into commercial Radio with Touch FM and more recently with Free Radio in Birmingham
During my time at Free Radio, my role was to work with commercial businesses to create branded content. In other words, I would develop and deliver Promotional ideas, Events, Sponsorship Campaigns or Digital and Social Media campaigns.
