Shakespeare Media Update

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to take the time to sit back and reflect on the last 6 months.

What a 6 month’s it has been!

New Clients:

2021 has seen Shakespeare Media begin relationships with a collection of fantastic local, regional & national businesses.

In April, we were honoured to be asked to represent The Coventry City of Culture Trust as they embark on an incredible year. From buying TV advertising, to print, radio, OOH & digital – as well as lamp post banners – the diversity of work has been fascinating!

Also in April, we began working with our namesake…almost! We are delighted to now be representing The Royal Shakespeare Company regionally.

Having the theatre so close to our homes [and hearts] it has been a privilege to help the theatre reawaken after its forced slumber and embrace the local & regional visitors back to Stratford.

Throughout the year we’ve taken on a number of social media clients as well. This has resulted in Shakespeare Media being asked to take responsibility for the content and management of the Tiptree World Bread Awards social media channels. This covers both the UK & USA Awards. We have gone international!!

Being able to help develop these platforms, create & design content, whilst working with a wonderful team has been a joy!

The Blenheim International Horse Trials are also a new client for us here at Shakespeare Media which is an addition to The Jockey Club’s portfolio.

It was a privilege to support such a prestigious event in the Eventing calendar this September – we look forward to working with them for the years to come!

Alsters Kelley Solicitors approached us after a recommendation from a lovely supplier and we have been able to take away a lot of hassle & stress by looking after their media buying. Alsters Kelley have five sites to market and so by using a media planner and buyer, it makes all the difference!

We continue to work with our incredibly supportive and long-term clients in Warwickshire College Group & The Jockey Club.

Our support to The Jockey Club has grown hugely over the past year. We have represented Cheltenham, Warwick, Wincanton and Exeter for the past 7 years. Now, in addition to this, we are proud to start a new season media planning and buying for Aintree, Carlisle and Haydock Park racecourses.

It is so wonderful to see crowds back at their fixtures and no doubt you will find us cheering on a (hopefully winning) horse back on the track soon!

Being able to step back & reflect on the last 6 months has made us realise how much our clients have adapted to the new way of life. They have come out the other side of a global pandemic and have been incredibly resilient. We are very proud to be planning more campaigns than ever and coming up with exciting ideas.

New SM Recruit:

At the start of September, we welcomed Jo Billings to the SM Family!

Jo has YEARS of experience working in Media – particular print, radio & digital.

Jo has come in as a Media Planner and Buyer so she’ll be able to help create, organise and develop your marketing and advertising plans!

New Office:

We’ve also relocated to a beautiful office in the Warwickshire countryside. We have office sheep, a wine fridge and an amazing neon sign!

We’ve settled in really well and we can’t wait to have all of our lovely clients and suppliers over to visit…… even if it just to help us work our way through the wine fridge!

Hope to see you all soon!
