Between May 2021 to June 2022, Coventry City of Culture organised and produced an incredible array of events. During this time, Shakespeare Media worked alongside the team, to plan and book marketing activity for over 35 events.
Every event had a different objective and bespoke plan to match. Here are a few examples:
- The Reel Store is the UK’s first permanent immersive digital art gallery which opened back in May 2022. The space features innovative art commissions and has found a home in the heart of the city. Shakespeare Media managed the paid social media activity, together with programmatic, print and out of home
- Assembly Festival Garden took the city by storm! With a huge spiegeltent tent erected – a mixture of dancers, singers & comedians took to the stages across the summer months. Firstly, the Coventry team created a TV advert which was distributed across Sky Adsmart & the ITV Hub. Secondly, Shakespeare Media planned a large radio, print and out of home campaign. Choir of Man was a particular highlight to watch!
- Coventry Glides took place in the stunning Cathedral ruins. Guests glided into the festive season at the magical ice rink in the beautifully illuminated historical setting. As Bus Advertising travelled around the region, Coventry Glides took over the radio airways with a campaign across Capital mid-counties and Free Radio Coventry & Warwickshire, planned and booked by Shakespeare Media.
